Go ahead and say it…WTF is that on the back of Chris Brown’s head?

Normally, Diddy would have hosted his party in the Hamptons, but I guess he decided to take it over to the west side….Beverly Hills, that is. Ahh, to be a fly on the wall for that one.

But back to Chris Brown’s red stripe, what is it? An arrow? Thunder? It seems like everyone is changing their hair color this summer. Amber Rose did it (temporarily, she is back to blonde), and now Chris. Wonder who is next? While I ponder about that, check out the pics underneath.

Everyone looked nice, but I have a few more questions…

What is Lil’ Kim wearing? It looks like she just came from the club. Does she have on panties underneath? She better not even bend down because everything will fall out.

I know that Diddy is “supposedly” banging Cassie, but how did that all work out with Kim Porter being there?

Isn’t it weird to see Niecey Nash without that flower in her head?

When did Tara Reid become relevant again? For those who don’t know, this is the one who accidentally exposed her f’ed up boob at one of Diddy’s parties years ago. I only recognize her for partying and drinking too much and having that raspy voice.

After the controversial performance of Drake and Lil’ Wayne at the BET Awards, there was a lot of backlash. In case you don’t remember, click here.

As much as I want to applaud BET and Drake for apologizing for that performance (and it takes a whole lot for me to applaud anything), I still feel like it’s not good enough! And to top it all off, they’ve replayed it with the kids faces blurred out. That’s is,BET? That’s all? Couldn’t they just cut that performance altogether? BET owes us so much more, along with the three and a half hours that I thought were going to be spectacular. Here’s what Drake said in Complex:

Complex: Speaking of basketball, you tore your ACL playing basketball, right?

Drake: Yes sir. It was intense casual, I guess [Laughs]. It was just a regular pick up game and I just took the wrong step.

Complex: Damn, that’s horrible. At the BET Awards this past Sunday, everyone was shocked to see you sitting on a stool. Did you ever think to yourself, Maybe I shouldn’t perform?

Drake: That, actually—to be honest—was a terrible idea that I’ll never do to myself again. [Laughs] But I was being pressed from different areas to perform, and I think what really happened at the BET Awards is with the passing of Mike, the climate really changed, as far as the award show goes. I don’t think it called for us to perform “Every Girl” and “Always Strapped,” and I think it was an award show filled with tributes and music and these genuine heartfelt speeches. And to sort of climax out of a very tongue-in-cheek point, and then people misconstruing Wayne’s daughters and her friends coming out on stage…

Complex: Yeah, it really was an awkward moment.

Drake: Yeah, it was just timed very poorly and it definitely wasn’t planned like that, but with that being said, it is what is. I believe in Wayne and myself and it’s nothing we can’t bounce back from. To anyone who was offended, my personal apologies, it wasn’t intended to offend anybody.

Complex: Watching it at home, the BET Awards seemed to be a mess. Did it seem that way in person?

Drake: Well, I can only speak for my portion of it. I had asked for something very specific for my performance and none of those were met, as far as production value, so…

Complex: That’s BET for you…

Drake: I understood my situation, as far as sitting in one place, and figured there was a way to make it interesting. But when I looked around and noticed that none of that was going on [laughs], I kind of just realized that it was going to be a loss for me. But at the end of the day, it is what it is.

And here’s BET’s statement via AHH:

“BET Networks deeply regrets the performance by Young Money at the BET AWARDS ’09 (featuring Lil Wayne, Drake, Gudda Gudda and Mack Maine),” a BET representative told AllHipHop.com exclusively. “Elements of the performance were unplanned and should not have happened.”

Sigh. I’m speechless.

It’s that time again to ask that question when you’ve expected more out of someone and they don’t deliver: is that the best they could do? More ranting underneath:

Now, I know Drake is supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread (I beg to differ), but seriously, what was the criteria to be in his video, big t*ts? And no bra? Secondly, I know we are in a recession, but we couldn’t get Hype Williams or someone of his caliber to direct this video? Third, “take the “D” like a champi0n”? REALLY? I’m trying to recover from ”dancing and sh-t” (Eddie Levert) and now this? Imagine Drake in bed with a woman telling you to take the “D” like a champion…..oops sorry, I’m on a tangent.

The video, and Drake, lacks personality. Even though there were a couple of cameo appearances (Trey Songz, Fabolous), it wasn’t enough to save it. I’ll tell Drake like Dave Chappelle (as Rick James) told the two women who exposed their breasts, this video, much like the girls’ breasts in the video, is FOUR THUMBS DOWN! All the way down!

I’m off the soapbox.

How soon did I forget that Dawn and Que are still together? No offense, but Que’s meltdown overshadowed their relationship on Making the Band 4. The photos are sexy though.

Derek Blanks makes me want to get some professional photos done! Seriously, he makes everyone look good.

OK, never mind that this is supposedly trying to pay homage to Janet Jackson, but this looks desperate on so many levels. Not that Vibe hasn’t pushed the envelope before (with Janet, Foxy, Toni Braxton, etc.), but sheesh! Christina Milian and The Dream? Couldn’t they extend that final issue, better yet, squash that cover and put Michael Jackson on the cover?

I’m not going to attempt to talk about The Dream like that, but I am praying that he has a tank top on…something about him screams “man boobs”, stretch marks and everything else.

Now, I’m not going to cry over the last issue, because Quincy Jones is supposed to buy his magazine back. Well, he better! Because this cover is a hot mess!

I didn’t really care for Oxygen’s reality show of him (”Coolio’s Rules”). Or that bootleg cooking show he had on Myspace. Would you take cooking lessons from a guy who looked like that?

I thought this mo-fo was clean! Wasn’t he clean once upon a time? Now he’s going to rehab too? I should have known something was wrong….

You know what would be a good idea? Him and DMX doing a reality show together. Two cracked out has-been rappers trying to be clean or worse, who can smoke the most crack? OK, OK, I know I’m wrong for that, but come on!

Now, I am fully aware that MJ passed last Thursday and the BET Awards were on a Sunday, hence everything being rushed and all over the place. But I felt that BET could have done ten, no, a billion times better with the ceremony! MJ would have not approved of this, as the perfectionist Virgo he was. And I have some serious issues with this years awards. Shall we discuss under the hood?

• After seeing Beyonce do this tribute to MJ on her tour, you would expect her to do the same at the awards, so WTF was this?
• And while we’re at it, was that some Victoria’s Secret ensemble she had on?
• Aren’t you glad Jay-Z got a haircut?
• Where, oh where did they dig up Aaron Hall?
• Weren’t you disturbed when Bobby Brown stuck out his tongue in the middle of the tribute to MJ?
• Shouldn’t he have been Tito, as fat as he is?
• As much as they tell us to respect our elders, didn’t you want Don Cornelius to get off the stage?
• What was up with BET not doing their job with the censoring? Somebody’s getting fired!
• Even though Jamie did a disclaimer before introducing Maxwell, didn’t you think it was still a tad bit odd for a hetero man to say that he gets “moist”?
• Admit it, you liked when Eddie Levert cursed on stage too.
• WTF was Ving Rhames talking about? Guns are Michael Jackson? Really?
• The most disturbing of all…..Lil’ Wayne and Drake singing “Every Girl in the World” and saying RIP Michael Jackson at the end.
• Controversial as it is, did you really think Chris Brown would perform?
• Did you want him to perform?
• Keri Hilson’s performance, yay or nay? 
• Why didn’t they ask Ciara to dance?

My prayers and condolences go out to Michael Jackson’s family. I cannot begin to comprehend what just happened!

This must be the year of celebrities shutting down clothing lines, isn’t it?

Jennifer Lopez is “temporarily” shutting down her clothing line and will relaunch soon. Wasn’t Eve doing the same thing with her “Fetish” clothing line? What happened to that?

To me, the only people that are still standing in the urban clothing industry are Kimora Lee Simmons, Jay-Z, Russell Simmons and Beyonce (as much as we clown on her clothing line). Everyone else seems to have tried and failed miserably! Need I remind you of LL Cool J and Andre 3000?

To be honest, I haven’t seen the “Sweetface” clothing line anywhere. And if it were high end, where exactly were they being sold? Bergdorf Goodman? Saks? Neiman Marcus?

At least she has other ventures, perfume line, singing and acting. Always good to have a backup plan.

It seems to me that ever since Cassie shaved one side of her head, everyone wanted to jump on the bandwagon and do it. She has created a monster! Lala Vasquez did it too. And now, Carmen Electra. Am I latedotnet on this one?

Well, at this point, Carmen isn’t really doing anything these days, right? Can anyone tell me anything she has done lately, besides that striptease workout DVD?? Don’t worry, I’ll wait. Isn’t Carmen a tad too old to decide to shave one side of her head to try and be trendy?

Now if Beyonce shaved one side of her head, that will probably be more interesting (and would generate more traffic) than a Playboy playmate/Prince’s ex-girlfriend shaving off one side of her head. Hell, I don’t think Prince would approve of this either. Unless he did it himself LOL.

Most of you know that I am a “blogaholic”, you know, blogging about entertainment and someone who likes to sample the finest liquors.

But has George Clooney lost his mind? Telling your friends that tequila will keep someone immune from swine flu to get them to go to Mexico with you is just plain selfish. And it’s not funny. This is NOT why you should drink. There is no cure for the swine flu and if anything, tequila (or any other liquor) will probably f-ck up your liver rather than cure swine flu.  Sure, he might be the “sexiest man alive”, but that doesn’t mean that he’s the smartest. Or maybe he’s that persuasive?

“George tried to organize a boys-only escape to Cabo San Lucas over the Memorial Day holiday to golf and party. But some of his pals balked at going south of the border with swine flu raging in Mexico. Undaunted, George was able to convince a couple of his friends to make the trip by telling them that they’d be protected from the epidemic - as long as they drank plenty of tequila!

While the germ-fighting ability of tequila is medically questionable, the star did end up making the trip with his best friend Thom Matthews and Cindy Crawford’s husband Rande Gerber.

While most of the country was following daily updates of the swine flu outbreak, George seemed unconcerned about his own well-being.

By now you have heard that Perez Hilton, the blogger you love to hate, allegedly caught a beatdown by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas (or was it by a security guard?) He then posts his attack on Twitter and it just goes downward from there. (Sidenote: why would one posted on Twitter that they are being attacked?)

So why is it no surprise that when a gay rights organization calls Perez out for pretty much being a hypocrite (calling Will.I.Am an anti-gay slur, as Perez is gay himself), he complains about how they don’t have his back? Blogger or not, own up to your sh-t! If someone says that you screwed up, own up to it! Don’t complain about someone else’s f-ck ups as a cop out!

Just saying….I don’t condone violence in any way, but we know that Perez is a controversial personality, a sh-t starter, if you will. A habitual line stepper (remember Charlie Murphy talking about Rick James?). How do you not expect to talk ish and not suffer consequences?

On the other hand, what happened to “sticks and stones may break your bones” and all that jazz?
