Well, I guess she doesn’t look bad, but Vivica Fox looks like she’s about to whoop somebody’s azz for catching her on her “off” day. She could have put some concealer on or some shades because she looks tired.

Now I’m not knocking Diddy for being successful. He has a clothing line, record label, cologne, has been on several reality shows, got a star on the Walk of Fame and so on and so forth.

But a business school? I wonder what secrets and tactics he will teach the up and coming entrepreneurs because he doesn’t have a great track record with some of his artists right now. Now the clothing line and his cologne, that’s another story, because at least he has something to fall back on.

“Rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is set to share the secrets of his success with budding entrepreneurs – he’s launching a business school in New York.

The hip-hop star has built up a multi-million dollar empire since his days as a record company intern and is now CEO of Bad Boy Records and Sean John Clothing. He is also behind the MTV reality TV show Making The Band, owns a restaurant chain called Justin’s, and enjoys a development deal with Ciroc vodka.

Now Combs wants to teach others how to make it in the business world with his own academy.

He tells CNN, “I want to have an academy that’s known for building leaders. I feel that’s one of the things I can have an impact on.”

Combs is determined to be a good role model for youngsters and is convinced launching his own school is the best hands-on approach.

He adds, “I want to take on more responsibility. I’m still honestly in search of how I can have the most positive effect that I can have.” “  (source)

As long as he doesn’t treat his school like a recording studio and shuts it down (remember that episode of Making the Band 2?), then I guess opening up a school is fine. But would students go just because his name is attached to it or do they really want to learn from him? Just a thought.

I will admit, maybe I (and you did too) jumped to conclusions when Robbie said that one of the reasons he started drinking was because Claudette left him for Ryan and married him (see episode here). We were ready to call her all types of names, but as you know, there are always three (never mind two), his side, her side and THE TRUTH! According to Claudette, Robbie was already an alcoholic before City High formed as a group. Wow….

“He was like that before City High… I got with Ryan because Robbie was an alcoholic… & the way he treated me. If I had a man now that had problems with alcoholism but treated me good, I’d stick around & help him through it. Robbie says he was so in love with me, but I’ve heard him say the same things about his other girlfriends & he treated them the same way.”

Regarding appearing on “Intervention” and speaking to Robbie:

“No… but what’s funny is the people over at A&E called us to be on the show. My reaction was did his family ask for me to be on there? Because if not, that’s none of my business… I wanted to know if his mom knew that they had reached out to me, when I found out she had no idea I was just like in that case I’m not going to do it.”

Hmm, honestly, since it was an emotionally abusive relationship fueled by alcoholism, I would have doubts appearing on the show too.

The only good thing I can say about Kelis is that her body looks good after giving birth last year. Other than that, this outfit has me confused. She looks like a Statue of Liberty mixed with mermaid. I am fully aware that she is a trendsetter, but this?

Well, I’m glad Omarion didn’t voice his opinion on Twitter, because anytime someone gets shut out of the Grammy awards (cough, The Dream) or feels the need to defend themselves, they always go to Twitter.

But Omarion? I think he’s having a Kanye moment, meaning he’s sounding a tad bit arrogant. You make the call:

“If I’m not a part of that, then that’s not… I’m not gonna say it’s wack,” he says. “But I’m just saying, everyone knows what I do, so if you gon’ have an MJ tribute…I take that back because Stevie [Wonder] did an MJ tribute. That’s my only thing, and I mean this in the humblest and the most competitive way. I’m competitive — that’s what the game is about. Hee hee, maybe it was an oversight? At this point, you have Chris Brown and Usher who are great dancers who can translate MJ’s moves. Hell, even Janet Jackson! But it tickles me when celebrities feel like they should be acknowledged when they feel no one is paying attention to them.

While I was perusing the blogs, I always see mixed reviews on the Alicia Keys/Swizz Beatz’ relationship. Everyone is either calling her a homewrecker or congratulating them on their engagement. Did he finalize the divorce with Mashonda yet, is all I want to know. And does Mashonda have anything to say about this? Either way, congratulations, I guess. 

Alicia Keys had a lot to smile about on her 29th birthday Jan. 25: an engagement ring from her producer beau, Swizz Beatz!

A pal tells UsMagazine.com that Beatz, 31 (who is currently divorcing wife Mashonda), proposed with a 7-carat sparkler right before her big day; the happy couple were photographed strolling on a Hawaii beach the day of the proposal, Jan. 24.

Keys’ rep denies she is engaged, but another friend reveals, “They are currently in Hawaii celebrating the engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed.”

Adds the pal: “She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album [The Element of Freedom].”

Swizz is equally smitten with Keys.

“What we have is so precious,” he gushed to the New York Daily News last year. (Source)

Amazing. Years ago we were speculating that she was gay and then a homewrecker and now she’s engaged. Drink on that. 

Normally, we like to joke around here about intoxicated celebrities, but this episode of “Intervention” was really sad. I hardly watch it, but when I found out that Robbie from the group City High was on, I had to watch.

To me, it was really effed up that one of his bandmates (Claudette) left him for another band memeber and married him and that contributed to Robbie’s drinking, along with issues he had with his mother leaving his father after 40 years.

I say this because ever since she’s left “The View” (was she fired or did she quit?), Star Jones can’t seem to keep a gig! Is it her diva antics? All I know is that if she were an average person applying for a job and they looked at her resume, they would avoid her like the plague!

“[Star] landed a six week gig as a panelist on the showbiz program, but security guards escorted her off the set after she engaged in a screaming match with a producer, a show source told The Enquirer.

“At first, Star got along with the producers just fine,” the source divulged. “But as she got more comfortable, she started complaining about the topics they wanted her to discuss. She said they were too trashy and ‘Star doesn’t do trash!”

Star – who famously locked horns with Barbara Walters on “The View” – also sent an e-mail to the show’s host Lara Spencer blasting fellow celebrity panelist Niecy Nash, said the source.

“Star said she couldn’t understand why Niecy was a regular on the show, while she, Star, was not,” said the source.

“Lara was upset by the e-mail, but instead of answering Star, she sent it to Niecy!”

Before Niecy could respond, 47-year-old Star and a producer faced off right before the holiday break, said the source.

“Star had made it clear that she didn’t like what was scheduled for the show that day – what she called ‘young Hollywood bimbos and reality show wannabes,” said the source.

“Star reminded the producers that she was an attorney and could offer intelligent insight on the legal issues of the day, instead of wondering if Jon Gosselin had a new girlfriend!”

“Star said she wanted to add some class to the program, to discuss things that made a difference and not dumb down the show.

“The argument got heated, and then it turned into a shouting match. Star obviously wasn’t going to back down, so the producer asked her to leave, adding they wouldn’t ‘bother’ her anymore with their trivial show.

“Star exploded! She started yelling insults. Finally, the producer called security to escort her off the set and off the studio lot.” (via Celebitchy)

You mean to tell me that she couldn’t stick it out for six weeks? Newsflash:  This is where her attorney skills should have came into play! Shouldn’t she have done her research before she signed up for “The Insider”? Did she not know it was an entertainment/gossip show?

By the way, Niecy Nash is a better fit over Star Jones AND Nene Leakes. 

Never mind the fact that all of America got to see her “Golden Globes” earlier this week at the Golden Globe Awards. Nor should you pay any mind to her drunken acceptance speech.

This dress/gown/whatever you want to call it looks almost familiar. kind of like what Beyonce wore when she performed at the 2009 BET awards:

A lot of the blogs clown on Wendy Williams for looking a bit masculine. And while that might be somewhat true, I think it has to do with the makeup and the hair that makes her look a bit of a drag queen.

I think I am seeing some improvement. The darker wig (though it could use some layers or bumping the ends or some teasing at the crown), the softer makeup makes her look less severe and easy on the eyes. She actually looks red carpet ready.Or maybe it’s just me….

But why couldn’t he replace Lil’ Mama? I’m still not over the “you were born a man” speech from her. HMPH!

OK, all jokes aside, I think this might be a good look. Lord knows I couldn’t stand Shane Sparks and his “wannabe LL” lip licking action going on. And along with the child molestation allegations going on, I guess it was best to replace him until he gets his situation taken care of.

Again, this would be a good look for Omarion. After all, he was in ”You Got Served”, so he does have some “dance crew” experience.
