Videos: Whitney Houston on “Dancing With The Stars”, you like or you hate?
Instead of talking about how Donnie Osmond snagged the title from Mya (I won’t even go there), I’d rather talk about Whitney Houston.
I know, I know….we can talk about Whitney Houston’s comeback all we want to (her comeback has been going on for almost a year now!). But this performance of “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” left me feeling like there was something lacking. Did she forget some of her lyrics? On the other hand, that yellow dress was nice. Now the next performance of “Million Dollar Bill”, well, you can look here:
Did they take the music from Kool & The Gang’s “Celebration” and injected it into this song? I’m confused. Again, Whitney has a nice outfit and nice shoes, but this performance was a bit all over the place in the beginning. And then towards the end, was there some lip synching going on that I didn’t know about? One thing has never changed though…Whitney STILL can’t dance! She does the fist pumping thing and the stiff leg thing and I’ll bet she thinks she’s doing something on the dance floor. Can someone please teach her a two step or something LOL?
So should Whitney hang it up or what? Just asking?

Whitney Houston is loved greatly in my parts, but it breaks my heart to see her now & not because she’s gotten older. I think she needs to maybe give it a rest & focus on something else for awhile. She could still act in movies, but her voice & music are just not the same. I understand her though. She still feels very competitive & feels that as long as air flows through her lungs she should sing. Overall I liked the performance, but it’s not the same as her performance on “Saving all my love for you” on David Letterman some years back.
