While everyone was all pissed off and perplexed with Lil’ Mama jumping on stage during Jay-Z’s and Alicia Keys’ performance at the MTV’s Video Music Awards a few weeks ago, Shane Sparks (from America’s Best Dance Crew), of all people, defends Lil’ Mama. My only question was, where was he when she blurted out to Leiomy (of Vogue Evolution) that she was born a man?

We all know the saying that there is a time and place for everything. But for Shane Sparks to say that Lil’ Mama is going to be big after that stunt, well, it’s a bit much. Sure we’re talking about her, but we’re not talking about her rapping skills. It’s either her fashion sense or her hairstyles or her lack of vocabulary on “America’s Best Dance Crew”.
