Finally, Pretty Ricky debuts their new video for “Tipsy”. And I’m not impressed.
The good thing I will say about this is that this is probably the last time I will ever see Spectacular gyrating all over You Tube with his red man-panties.
Other than that, this video is just typical; being in the club and popping bottles of champagne (of course, the song is called “Tipsy”). But what’s the deal with the bubbles? Then there is Pretty Ricky in some sequined jackets reminiscent of Diddy and the shiny suit era. My eyes!
The song…well, I am confused. Are they rapping? Singing? Because their voices collectively sound like nails on a chalkboard, all that raspiness going on.
And I know I am latedotnet, but why is one of the members named “Lingerie”? Really?

According to my nephew that’s how all of their songs go. They kind of do an interplay b/w rapping & singing back & forth. I guess that it’s typical Pretty Ricky, and if you’re a female & age 15 or under then I could see you adoring this song. Everyone else should vomit at first listen. lol

no ma’am! I don’t approve of this video either. Its bad enough that Spectacular was all over the web in his pink speedo performing for the Gods, but the hammer jackets and hightop gumby fades?… too much!
