Overcritical rant: Ciara goes back to her weave, guess the wig didn’t work.

Yeah, I know I am “latedotnet” with the whole Ciara wig thing, but I had mixed reviews about the short haircut. I guess she read the blogs and decided that the short look wasn’t doing it for her. You have to love the versatility of weaves and wigs, you can go short one week and the next week, have hair down to your butt.

However, I wonder why she went back to the blonde highlighted weave. To me (and speaking from personal experience), it’s too hot to be wearing 16 and 18 inches of weave! If given a bad batch of weave, it’s bound to bunch up in the back of your neck and tangle up. Now it looks like a Brillo pad and you have to brush it constantly, which causes shedding.

I’m not saying that Ciara should shave one side of her head like Cassie or wear it like short Solange, but I think the next style should be shoulder length with a solid color, preferably a jet black or an off black. This style, along with the fact that she has no makeup on, makes her look tired and old. Just saying.

That was brutal home girl. She doesn’t look that bad. As you know I’m not the biggest fan of weaves/wigs anyway, but this looks like the Ciara I’ve always seen.
