Dayum, is Michael even buried yet? Why are they bringing up old ish about whether or not Joe Jackson beat Michael and the rest of the kids? 

Joe Jackson hasn’t been scoring cool points as of late, you know, showing up to the BET Awards to promote his record label. Oh, and his alibi for not beating the kids? He was too busy working two jobs, so he had no time to dish out the whoopings. WTF??

“Michael was never beat as they call it. And everyone spanked their kids when they did wrong. But not beat.” And Jackson insists it was his wife Katherine who handed out the spankings to their kids – as he was away on business most of the time.

He adds, “Katherine spanked Michael more than I did, ’cause I was working two jobs and she was at home with him the most.”

And Joe insists he doesn’t regret pushing his children into the limelight: “No. I don’t have any regrets. Yeah, we brought him up the right way.” (source)

SMH. Even after Michael Jackson’s death, the topic will never die on whether or not those kids were beat. Can’t we just focus the talent that he was and not his imperfections?
