(video spotted at “Tha Feedback“)

I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t post everyone’s favorite Virgo, Beyonce. Now that I have done so……..my review underneath:The video looks basic. It doesn’t have the pizazz like a Hype Williams video, but then again, we are in a recession. I guess that explains why the video is so basic, they can’t afford to make glitzy and glamorous videos like they did in the 90′s. Sigh. I miss videos like that.

The video is done in black and white with Beyonce and her dancers wearing what looks like “Solid Gold” disco attire. (And of course, the fishnet stockings. I’ve said this before and I’ve said it again; unless Beyonce endorsing pantyhose (or Spanx), why does she need to wear stockings with every outfit?)

All that head shaking and head whirling was making my neck hurt. I’m surprised her lace front wig didn’t fall off, like this.

I don’t think the song tranlated into the video that well, like, “If I were a Boy” did. There was a plot to it, a storyline. But this, it reminds me of an audition tape for “Fame” or “Flashdance”.

Anyway, do you like this version or the remix with Kanye West on it? I do think it’s missing Kanye, but I can deal with the song.
