When I first read that Akon had 5 kids by three different women and possibly expecting a sixth child, my thoughts were, “does anyone believe in birth control anymore?” My other thought was, “well, maybe he wants a large family.” There are certain cultures in some countries that encourage large families, don’t you know.

“R&B singer Akon is set to become a father after impregnating a Ugandan woman during his recent tour of the country, according to reports.

The Lonely hit-maker, real name Aliaune Thiam, is alleged to have enjoyed an intimate relationship with Susan Owori, the younger sister of fashion designer Sylvie Owori, earlier this year after a visit to the African nation. Local media reports claim Owori has named Akon as the father of her unborn child.

The Senegal-born star’s representative had yet to return requests for a comment as WENN went to press.

It’s amazing that we know how many kids Akon has,  but we still don’t know how old he is and whether or not he has multiple wives.

Now Lil’ Wayne (scary looking and all) is making headlines, yet again, because Lauren London is having his kid. Didn’t he have a baby last year with some manicurist or something?

I know everyone wants to talk about how fine Lauren London is, but didn’t we overlook the fact that she admitted that she likes thugs? Perhaps Lil’ Wayne is her thug in shining armor? What exactly did he say to her to make her want to lay down and conceive? Don’t answer that, I don’t think I want to know….

See, this is what I mean when I say that I can’t keep up with these celebrities and the kids. We always hear about groupies and strippers poking holes in condoms and getting pregnant by these male celebs but how come we are not as harsh on the male celebrities? Next thing you know, they are on some Michael Jackson ish (“Billie Jean is not my lover”) or the Bill Clinton (“I did not have sexual relations with that woman!”) and paying hush money so these girls don’t write a tell all book exposing them. Again, do these men not know the meaning of a condom? If  we are not ready to devote 18 to 21 years to a child, then strap it up! Strap it up twice if you have to. Ladies, don’t skip those pills either.
