I know us Virgos tend to be frugal (cheap and stingy according to others), but Nas? Really? No spousal support? Come on!

Just when all the single ladies were ready to scoop him up after Kelis filed for divorce, Nas does this number:

“Kelis filed for divorce April 30. She’s weeks from giving birth and unable to work, but no matter to Nas — he’s filed his response to the divorce, asking the judge to deny her the spousal support she’s seeking. For bad measure, he also wants her to pay her own lawyer’s fees.

Nas and Kelis both want joint custody of their unborn child.

Kelis cites “irreconcilable differences” for the divorce, but we’re told she believes he was cheating on her and that’s what buzz-killed the marriage.” (source)

Wait, isn’t there a sex tape of Kelis floating around somewhere? And now all this cheating? Who cheated on who first? All of these allegations are confusing me!

I hope Nas does the right thing and provides child support; not only financially, but emotionally as well. Parents tend to sling dirt back and forth and forget about the child (or children). They didn’t ask to be brought in the world, so I hope that Nas and Kelis come to some terms of agreement soon. Still can’t get over the fact that she decides to file for a divorce even though she is 7 months pregnant…
