I guess Tyra Banks and other former models don’t gel together. Perhaps Tyra wants the spotlight all to herself? Remember she had beef with Janice Dickinson? Twiggy left and now Paulina Porizkova got the boot. On her birthday! Dayum! I will not drink to that. Who gets fired or dumped on their birthday?

“Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles? Because I am looking for a job,” Porizkova informed Craig Ferguson when the Late, Late Show host inquired about her latest TV gig. “Because I was fired by America’s Next Top Model on my birthday.”

That would put firing—which happened via telephone call, she said—on April 9.

“The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed, that America’s Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me,” Porizkova said during her interview, which airs tonight on CBS.

“So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn’t aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem.” (source)

What is happening to America’s Next Top Model? It’s not what it used to be a few seasons ago when Eva the Diva and Tocarra were on. These last few seasons have been downright wack lately, they are running out of photo challenge ideas, the contestants don’t look that hot before or after the makeover, Tyra’s not screaming at the contestants, no one is passing out from exhaustion like they used to.

Now if Tyra fires Miss Jay, then the show is going to go all the way downhill. I think they should get Naomi Campbell, that would make the show a lot more interesting.

On a serious note, I wonder if Tyra gave Paulina a severance package?
