Not that “O” face, you pervs!

Three Olives Vodka is having a contest where you can submit your best “O” face (seen above), win $10,000 and a trip to NYC! You can visit their website for more information on how to enter (21 and over, please). Via press release:

As part of a new multi-million dollar integrated advertising campaign, www.ThreeOlives.com now includes an interactive contest that invites users to upload a photo of their best “O-face” – the look of surprise one has after tasting a shockingly delicious Three-O Vodka drink. At the conclusion of the campaign on May 31, 2009, 5 finalists will be chosen, flown to NYC, given the VIP treatment and given a photo shoot. Of the 5 finalists, 1 grand prize winner will be Three-O’s next “O-Face”, awarded $10,000 and be featured in a national ad campaign.
 

Also, as I had blogged late last year, Three Olives Vodka had three new flavors, Cherry, Root Beer and Grape (wonder what happened to that tomato and expresso vodka, hmm?). Well, lo and behold, yours truly was sent a bottle of Three Olives Cherry Vodka.

Now, I have had my share of fruit flavored vodkas, but I am happy to report that the Cherry Vodka tastes GREAT, even when done as a shot! You can definitely taste the cherries in the vodka. It doesn’t burn in your chest like other vodkas As a mixer,  I think this can go well with anything (does a cherry martini or an updated version of a cosmopolitan come to mind, I wonder?), but to play it safe, I would try this with some Pepsi or Coke (Cherry Cola with a twist!).

There are so many possibilities with cherry vodka (maybe some Disarronno Amaretto will go with that, I feel like a mad scientist right now) that I don’t even know where to start.
