Terrence Howard’s past comes back to haunt him….not a good look.

Skeletons, skeletons.
I know that mugshot was 8 years ago, but maybe Terrence Howard should have considered his own past before saying what he said about the Chris Brown/Rihanna situation (I know, I’m beating a dead horse, right?) Couldn’t he have said something along the lines of, “look, I’ve been in your situation, dude,” blah blah blah? Or better yet, say nothing at all? We don’t need any more celebrities adding their two cents about the whole mess.
“The actor, who co-starred in “Iron Man” and was nominated in 2006 for an Academy Award for his role in “Hustle & Flow,” was arrested by Pennsylvania cops in September 2001 for assaulting his estranged wife. According to a Whitemarsh Police Department report, after Howard and Lori McCommas argued on the phone, the actor warned, “Don’t disrespect me by hanging up on me or I’ll come over and hurt you.” McCommas then “hung up and contacted 911 fearing Howard was serious.” While McCommas was speaking with a police dispatcher, Howard “showed up at the victim’s residence and began breaking the door down.” McCommas ran to the rear of the house and into the backyard. Howard then “broke the front door down and ran through the screen door in the kitchen. Howard then grabbed the victim’s left arm and punched her twice with a closed fist in the left side of the face.” (source)
I just KNEW something about him wasn’t wrapped too tight (and you did too, don’t act like I’m not the only one)! Talented actor (with a “manpurse”) or not, people should worry about their own backyard first before speaking on something that we don’t know. And what was that other quote, people living in glass houses shouldn’t cast stones?
And yet, this is another reminder that celebrities are just as f-ed up, except with a bigger paycheck.

I actually thought he was wrapped tight enough & had respect for him. I don’t know all the particulars with his estranged wife b/c I personally think the domestic violence tag is thrown on men by the police before the husband even thought about drawing his hands. My best friend was accused of that with his ex-wife, and the incident in question was one I actually witnessed. He never came close to touching her.
