Is that the best they could do? Miss Rap Supreme’s Rece Steele – “Spend it on me” (Video)
Does anyone remember Rece Steele from “Miss Rap Supreme”? Anyone?
OK, onto the matter, that is this video, at hand. When I heard the Autotune in the beginning of the song, I just knew that this was the beginning of the end. (By the way, Ron Browz produced this song, I guess that explains it.) Secondly, given the name of the song and the lyrical content, “strip club anthem” came to mind. I could picture people trying to make it rain in the club.
Third, I could barely see Rece Steele’s face, the video footage was that poor and cheap. I thought it was Babs (from Da Band) with a blonde wig, or QueenPen, that’s how bad the video looked. Kind of BET Uncut, you think? Only thing that was missing was some booty popping. She also could use a better looking bra in a couple of the wardrobe changes, and a bra underneath that ripped up t-shirt.
It’s a shame that Rece Steele had to resort to Lil’ Kim-like lyrics (you would think that Lil’ Kim wrote these lyrics herself), and I know she can do better than this.

You ain’t never lie home girl. This video was awesomely awful, and within the first couple of seconds the video played I saw the beginning of the end. Her lyrics suck major ass (makings of a strip joint record though “Shake ya ass” by Mystikal was hot), and the so did the beat. In terms of the video her hair looked a mess. She would’ve done better wearing her natural hair b/c that weave/wig/hairpiece looked scary. Her outfits looked pretty bad as well with te exception of her bra (since she didn’t wear one in a couple of shots…lol). The director must’ve been drunk along with the cameraman. Rece Steele needs to go back to the drawing board.

what in the hell!? The hook isn’t half bad, but everything else is! Nikki 2 States should have won! They shot this shit with her cousin’s camcorder. Ratchet.
