NSFW: Aubrey O’Day says posing for Playboy was empowering.. (but didn’t she say that already?)

Please help me understand this.
Posing nude for a mens magazine, according to Aubrey, is supposed to be empowering and makes one comfortable with their sexuality? Did I miss the memo? Different strokes for different folks, I guess. She always finds a way to make it about her somehow. I need to get my marketing skills and strategies together…..LOL
All morals and beliefs aside, Aubrey is just plugging away her Playboy spread as if it were a solo album. But you know what’s funny? Tonight is the season premiere of “Making the Band 4″ (why is it still 4, after a few seasons?) and I am surprised that Playboy didn’t release the issue on the night of the premiere. That would definitely deflate Diddy in a big way, and we all know he has a huge ego….
“We constantly feel the need to not say this or not wear this or do that, and taking it all off and being nude is the most natural state that you can be in,” she told MTV News about the pictorial. “Being able to feel comfortable with that and show that sex can be a beautiful, comfortable — your sexuality can be a beautiful, comfortable thing — is going to be empowering for people. And I think it’s an important thing to be comfortable with your sexuality and feel liberated and not feel that you have to restrict yourself.” She continued to say that if people “saw sex and sexuality in that [empowering] way in society then we’d have less AIDS, less STDs, less teen pregnancy and less girl-on-girl hate.”
Whoa, whoa, whoa! What does she mean “girl on girl hate”? Is she trying to imply that there are some people that were hating on her (perhaps Danity Kane?)? Of course she is!!! But again, I wonder, is she trying to promote safe sex or herself with this Playboy spread?

She is promoting herself big time through the medium of a male owned magazine, and I despise the fact that she tries to cover that up with spots of truth. Of course nudity is the natural state of human beings, but that was when only Adam & Eve were on earth (aka only two people). The same doesn’t apply when millions of people are gawking at your naked ass. Also I doubt that being comfortable with your sexuality will hinder the spread of STDs or HIV. In fact it may augment them if you don’t do your homework on the subjects. I knew Aubrey’s plastic ass would pose no questions asked, but she could’ve just done it & shut her ignorant ass up.
