“New York” and “Vagina Monologues” in the same sentence?

Let me just say this. I am all about the hustle. By all means, do what you have to do to make that paper, boo boo (channeling my inner Katt Williams). That being said…..
When it comes to New York, aka Tiffany Pollard, ”Vagina Monologues” shouldn’t be on her resume if she wants to be taken seriously as an actress. If I were a casting director, I would easily say, “NEXT!”, simply for the fact that she is famous for boning Flavor Flav and letting Chance (and countless others) tap that azz. I haven’t really caught on to the whole “Vagina Monologues” craze and for New York to sign on for this tour, I could only imagine what she could contribute to this besides, well, you know…..(not THAT, you pervs!)
New York is now in Los Angeles, pursuing an acting career. But next up for the reality fave is Atlanta, for Eve Ensler’s Obie-award winning play ‘The Vagina Monologues.’
“I’m very excited. It’s a great piece and a great thing to be a part of,” said the starlet. “Just to be able to take part in this is a really big deal to me.”
“It’s more of a personal stake in this,” she said. “I’m a woman and I come from a family with a large number of women in it and I heard all the stories of boyfriends cheating, of guys being verbally abusive and I myself, unfortunately, had a few guys verbally abuse me. I just want to be there and lend my voice and take part in this. It’s a celebration for women and we need to be liberated every day. So I’m definitely excited to be a part of the ‘Vagina Monologs’. It’s an important thing for me to do.” (source)
OK, so it isn’t about the va-jay-jay per say, but still, you have to admit it’s funny that New York is even participating.

Don’t ask me WHY, but I just joined a group on Facebook that deals with the Vagina Monologues. Oprah swears by the Obie award winning play, but it’s no big deal to me. New York would look odd in it especially when it’s not called the “Melon’s Monologues.” lol
