Round 3: Lil’ Kim vs. Voletta Wallace

vwallacelilkim4

I’m surprised Voletta Wallace didn’t come out with a mix tape! But seriously, I am kind of disappointed though. I thought she would have taken the high road and ignore Kim’s b-tching about her portrayal of her in “Notorious” (which I still didn’t see, don’t judge me!). I don’t blame her for telling Kim to be quiet though, she did make a point, that the movie wasn’t all about her!

“She felt the character we chose for her was ‘too dark,’ ” Wallace told the publication, regarding Kim’s issues with the film. “Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she’s a white woman trapped in a black woman’s body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil’ Kim’s words. She should be ashamed of herself.”

I love it!!

“Tell Lil’ Kim to go find herself, go drink a cup of green tea and get a life! This movie is not about Lil’ Kim. She felt we used her character to promote [but] this movie is about my son. … Lil’ Kim needs to go sit down.” (source)

Well, there you have it! I am rolling right now at her telling Kim to drink a cup of green tea and sitting down! But you get her drift. And you don’t ever piss off a Jamaican woman! She does have a point though, can you blame her?

Kim is doing nothing more than using this to promote her own sh*t. I just don’t understand how she has all this love for Big and is steady trying to stick it to his mother. It’s disrespectful. Ms. Wallace is correct in saying this was a story about her son and no one else. So if Kim wants to write her version of someone else’s history-more power to her….(insert eye roll)

I wish Kim would just drop the whole thing. If her image in the movie was dark, then that was b/c part of her life was kind of dark. She was Biggie’s mistress. That’s not the same as being the wife which is someone a man is seen with during the light of day. She slept with him behind Faith’s back. It sounds dark enough to me. No disrespect to Kim b/c I kind of like her, but she should just cool out & go in another direction.

While its true, “you don’t ever piss off a Jamaican woman!” Mrs. Wallace is Haitian… So leave them alone too.
