Swizz Beats’ ex-wife found out about affair via credit card statements.

alicia-keysswizz-and-mashonda

Let me find out that Mashonda (aka Swizz Beats’ ex-wife) took a verse out of Whitney Houston’s song (“It’s not right, but it’s OK”) and found proof he was fooling around by looking at his credit card statements! I don’t condone infidelity or anything like that, but why do you think these financial advisors always tell you to pay in CASH? There is a hidden message that lies within why they would suggest something like that; it’s not only because you’re going to rack up debt, it’s because of people like her who open up the mail. Just a thought…..

According to reports, Mashonda discovered something some thing wasn’t right with her producer husband when a series of suspicious credit card bills surfaced showing purchases in cities on an Alicia Keys tour. When asked about the seemingly incriminating bills, Mashonda said, “That’s a true statement, but that wasn’t the first.”

Mashonda says that she had been suspicious of her husband’s activities for a while and that is why she decided to play “Inspector Gadget.”

“It’s not like I wake up, and I have to snoop,” she said. “It’s if you recognize — and this is for anybody, a man, woman, whatever — if you recognize a dramatic change, and you’re asking ‘What’s the problem?’ and you’re not getting an answer, you’re just gonna have to [find out for yourself].”

Mashonda, an aspiring R&B artist herself, says that she ultimately thinks it was her husband’s impulsive nature that bought about his alleged infidelity.

“I guess people go through their things, and they feel like they gotta make their moves. Whatever makes them happy at the moment is what they go by,” she explained.

Despite the rift, however, Mashonda says Swizz is “forgiven.” (source)

Side note #1: Mashonda shouldn’t have equated herself with “Inspector Gadget” because he was not that bright, if you ever saw his cartoons. Maybe “Columbo” or “Ironside” would have been a safer bet?

Side note #2: This reminds me of an episode of Suze Orman last week where a woman called in to say that her husband threatened to call the police if she ever opened up his mail pertaining to credit card statements. What’s that all about? She should have been suspicious right then and there, probably because the caller’s husband was probably charging up his credit card on another woman….

Had this been an episode of “Cheaters” (you know you watch that show too), there would be no forgiving or forgetting and it would have been ghetto as hell, weave snatching and all! I’m glad she didn’t go that route.

Unless she is giving me tips on how to catch a cheater, then she doesn’t need to discuss this any further. 2009, woman, let it go!

I wanna know what it is that she found that gave her a definitive answer. I know he’s gonna have some business dinners. Even if they went out for fun it shouldn’t be a big deal, they gotta have some downtime. And who knows if it was Alicia, it could have been her assistant or a dancer or someone.

I know some peole can’t picture AKeys doing this…but also remember people are human…and flesh is weak…(ok). I’m sure it started out innocent…..but shame on him for just walking away after they “just” had a child. Did he not hear Barack talk about broken families? (Im jus say’n) I too have sinned so I won’t be the first to cast that stone….and Akeys can’t break nothing that aint already cracked. All three parties share some form of responsibility. To each is own……..and yes ladies (me too) let that go in 2009! WUSAB-wusab

I’ll have to crack some heads just because they got too close to my future wife. I’m pretty sure Swizz Beatz has had women on the side in his marriage to Mashonda before. I’ve seen him in NUMEROUS clubs being a tad too friendly to the groupie crowd. I could only see Mashonda calling out A. Keys to get her name out there. It’s accomplished. Now please leave my booby alone. lol

Just because his wife found cc statements showing spiradic spending, doesn’t mean he was spending it on the accused homewrecker; she should have better proof than that because some one’s reputation is involved.

I thought better of AK, but she is acting quite desperate right about now. She is human no doubt, but I think she could conduct herself better than what she is doing. I love her music but what make me luv it even better is to see her talk the talk and walk the walk and not just talk! She is one of the representatives of strong women of all colors. We all make mistake but don’t just waldle in it, clean it up, as much as possible. I mean don’t flunt your mistakes and own up to them that is what strong people do. Stop acting like you have something to prove and be yourself, because I will like to think that this is out of character for AK, I hope that I am right!
