Jermaine Dupri may be dropped from Island Records.
This is not the way to start off the New Year! Dayum, corporate America AND the music industry is giving everyone the shaft, and possibly Jermaine Dupri as president of Island Records Urban Music (as per All Hip Hop). I dare someone say that it’s because of the economy and that the couldn’t afford to pay his salary.
It hasn’t been pretty for him, I must say. His restaurant closed, puking on Janet’s dress at a party, him posting a blog in all caps saying that Janet is not pregnant. 2008 wasn’t exactly a good year for him.
I’m not sure exactly what the president of a record label does, but he might want to tackle some other territories like a clothing line, liquor, a cologne. What about buying a sports team?
Then again, he should just stick to what he knows, producing.

I almost feel bad for Jermaine. I don’t like to see any man down on his luck, but since he may possibly impregnate Janet I have to destroy him in every manner possible. Aw welll he may not be able to buy a new whip for the rest of the year. Boo Hoo!

Damn, so we just drop CEOs n shit nah??? I was under the impression that these people couldn’t get fired.
