He wants to get himself in better shape & there's nothing wrong with that. He has put on weight over the years (which is understandable especially with his condition), and Stevie is looking for creative ways to shape up. Artists tend to do crazy things like this. So that's why I wouldn't feel too upset if he went through with it. I would probably start crying if he actually won the contest. I have no respect for DWTS anymore-now it's protocol to have dancers with issues-i understood marlee matlin-but tony b with her bad heart, marie osmond with passing out-and I use that loosely-, they're running out of creative juice and are now wanting to exploit impediments??
