Agree or disagree: T-Pain is the “hook man” of all time?

I want to know what Akon was drinking or smoking because he feels that T-Pain is the greatest hook singer of all time. As much as we all loathe and detest T-Pain and Akon, you have to admit that they were the go-to guys when it came to singing hooks. But has Akon taken it too far by saying that Nate Dogg isn’t competition? GASP!

”Nate, I don’t think he’s any competition to what we’re doing right now. The West Coast, which was incredibly hot, there wasn’t nobody touching Nate Dogg at that time. I was around at that time. It wasn’t no getting through them doors.”

“If I had to give it personally to anybody, I would give it to T-Pain,” Kon revealed. ”I always looked at him as someone that can add a lot of color to someone’s record. I do it a lot of different ways, but I’m always thinking business when I’m doing it. Pain is doing it for the fun of it. I strategize differently. I do it according to what territories I need to take over. Pain does it just cause he loves to do it.”

I hope Nate Dogg is recovering from his stroke real soon, because I would like to hear what he has to say about all of this. Why couldn’t Akon acknowledge that Nate Dogg paved the way for people like him and T-Pain? Sheesh….

That’s the problem with Black people home girl. We are quick to put down another before giving credit where it’s due. Best believe that Akon & T-Pain owe their careers to Nate Dogg, and I will add that Nate Dogg actually has a decent singing voice.

Akon is bugging…. dude was mighty disrespectful for thinking that he’s better than Nate, let alone speaking those very thoughts.

once again, Akon is garbage. case closed.
