Well aren’t we delusional?
If there is anything I have learned about blogging and anything else in life, it’s to give credit where credit is due. You link your sources and you keep it moving.
With that being said, I wonder if it should be applied to style, music and fashion. Jim Jones, SOMEHOW, seems to think that Jay-Z and T.I. have no “swagger” and even went as far to say that HE originated the “rock and roll” look. Well, WTF do you want, a biscuit? A Nobel Peace Prize? Gotdayum! Men always want credit for s–t that has nothing to do with them and want to be acknowledged. Diva, yes?
“You look at people, they went from the urban world of clothing, back when Rocawear and Sean John was cool. And then in the past 5 years I stepped in and gave them a taste of what rock and roll looks like from my side. I guess people would say from an urban side, and it seemed to catch on like wildfire, to the point that people was going to stores and asking for that Jim Jones look.” (Me, sipping drink, says: “Really now?”)
Regarding Jay-Z and T.I.:
“And look at the Vibe cover. Tell me who Jay-Z looks like in there? Did you see the picture of him? With the Louis Vuitton scarf and all that. Who did that resemble? You can say it. But he did it wrong; he had a Gucci belt with a Louis Vuitton scarf. Who does that? You smell me? That’s like wearing one Nike and one Puma; how you going to get away with that? But I didn’t take the song as a shot, because I don’t feel like none [besides Weezy] of them possess any swag.”
“I don’t feel like he possesses any swag. Not like that. It’s fabricated. They’re watching other people, then they try and do it. You know people that dress like T.I.? You know people that go out and say let me get a T.I. outfit or do you know people who say “yo, you’re looking like Jim Jones?”
It sounds like he’s been watching too much of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” or “What Not to Wear” or one of those fashion makeover shows. What man criticizes another man for how he is dressed?

Jim Jones must be sniffing that shiznit again b/c every last one of those dudes have swagger. Why is he commenting on the look of other dudes though? I detect jealousy through the roof oozing through his pores. Also, Rocawear & Sean John are still hot like fire in the fashion world so again I don’t know what Jim Jones is trying to say. I find it funny that he’s trying to clown T.I. when I’ve seen Jim Jones share the stage with him often.
