…that she has been sooo busy and her next album is “all her”. You know, I seriously don’t get why these artists say that! “This is me, this is all me, I wrote all my songs, blah blah blah.” We are fully aware that they wrote, produced, arranged and played all the instruments on their album (or so they want us to believe), so quit it! Her open letter is under the hood:

“My music will explain it all,” Beyoncé wrote in a letter to fans, released Thursday (October 2) by her label, Columbia Records. “I have worked on this album for close to one year. I have taken the time so I can create my sound. Something that says who I am at this stage in my life. I have poured my heart and soul into it. It is my baby. It is the most time I have spent on any project since my first records as a member of Destiny’s Child when I was 15 years old.”

“I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me. I am in a different place right now, and I wanted people to see the many sides of me,” Beyoncé continued in the letter. “The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side, and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side. I have taken risks here. I am not afraid. … There is no label or tag on my sound. It’s me, and I am so excited to share it with the world.” (source)

I thought she was going to take a break and settle into married life, but if it were left to Beyonce, I can picture her going on tour when pregnant and writing songs while giving birth. It’s what us Virgos do, we work so hard and we want everyone to appreciate our hard work.

But what happened to Solange? Can’t Beyonce just take a break for a little bit so that her little sister can get some shine? Gotdayum! I guess she knew her little sister was going to have a flop, so Beyonce was like, “let me show you how it’s really done.” LOL.
