I was talking to a friend once about how someone couldn’t possibly get to work because he didn’t have transportation fare ($2.00 per ride for all my New York heads). I told him that this guy should probably ”do something strange for a little change.” He couldn’t believe that I said that. But it’s true. Desperate times call for desperate measures and sometimes you have to do what you have to do in order to maintain a certain lifestyle, a career, a roof over your head, etc.

While I don’t think that posing for Playboy is “doing something strange for a little change” (after all, it seems like that is the direction some women go in order to either show off how hawt they still are or to boost/maintain a career), I do find it odd that Mel B (aka Eddie Murphy’s baby mama) would even resort to doing so, after “Dancing with the Stars”, a Spice Girls reunion and that office singing reality show on TLC. And let’s not forget a lingerie line. You would think that she’s making decent money, right?

Now I’ll give it to her, she definitely looks HAWT after giving birth, but is it even necessary to go there? I’m going to say yes, because Eddie Murphy was a FOOL for breaking up with her and he’s missing out! You don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone! Drink on that, Eddie!

Last month the singer turned television personality (born Melanie Janine Brown), revealed to various media outlets that she had turned down two offers to appear in ‘Playboy’ magazine over the past year, despite leaving the opportunity open for a later date.

“I was offered Playboy last year and again a couple of months ago, and I did turn them down, but that’s not to say I wouldn’t consider it in the future,” she said. “I have no problems walking around the house naked or anything.”

According to London’s ‘Mirror’ newspaper, last week the two parties came to an agreement for six figures that will lead Brown to appear nude in a forthcoming issue. (source)
