The moment you’ve been waiting for….Kanye’s performance on MTV

I believe MTV’s VMAs have saved the best for last. Kanye premiered his new song “Love Lockdown” last night. I didn’t get it at first, but now I realize that you have to try something different. You have to step outside of the box.

Aside from that, there were other performances that I felt stood out to me and some BS (head over to MTV to watch some of the performances) , like Britney Spears winning 3 awards. HUH?

What did you think of the MTV VMA’s last night?

Well, I like Brittney’s album actually and she is not as crazy as people make her ass out to be….
I didnt like Kanye’s Love Lockdown AT ALL, it didnt make any sense.
Someone should tell Lil Wayne to STOP COLLABORATING with America.?
Rihanna needs to watch that weight as does Beyonce…..

The MTV VMAs were amazing all around. I pretty much liked something from all of the performances, and I loved how Lil’ Wayne opened his performance with Leona Lewis singing Nina Simone’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood.” Kanye’s Performance & song was off the chain. Even though he gets on my nerves at times his musical mind is quite intense. That song was hot & the performance with the drummers behind him made for a great climactic ending. That song will be rocking in clubs nationwide VERY SOON. Britney took home three moon men, but I believe she was basically given those to spruce up her image some more. She still has issues galore, and the fact that Mariah was slighted again shows that the voters don’t know real music when it hits them sometimes. Rihanna looked great to me, T.I. did his thing, and I even liked Kid Rock’s performance. The 2008 MTV VMAs is probably the best they’ve put out since 2001 when my man Jay-Z invaded the courtyard at the Metropolitan Opera House & performed “Izzo” in his throwback Michael Jordan jersey.
