I thought Mary had “no more drama”?

Let me ask this out loud: Why is it that whenever a singer or anyone in the entertainement industry becomes successful, all of a sudden, people come up out of the woodwork wanting a piece of the pie? Worse yet, they even try to sue them and say that it was their idea and that “so and so” stole it?
Grammy-winning phenom Mary J. Blige is facing a $2 million federal suit claiming music on her most recent No. 1 album, “Growing Pains,” was stolen.Producer Theron (NEEF-U) Feemster wrote the music for the song “Work That,” but the tune is owned by Dream Family Entertainment Inc., according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Manhattan Federal Court.
The court filing claims the New York-based firm never gave Blige, Feemster or Geffen Records, the distributor, rights to use the song.”Mr. Feemster created the music while he was under contract with Dream Family. Dream Family then owned the music, yet the music was used without permission in a Mary J. Blige release recording,” said Dream lawyer Brian Caplan.
“It was released as an album, a single and in a commercial,” Caplan said. (source)
I smell hateration! Someone ordered a haterade straight up with no chaser and I hope that Mary gets her legal matters in order.

At best duke MAY have come up with a part of the tune while the bulk of the tune was produced by one of her usual collaborators. I don’t even think it went that far. This person is just trying to slide with a piece of Mary’s bankroll.
