Whew, I was having an Earth, Wind and Fire moment! Let me go get my bottle of Grey Goose now……because it’s a celebration!!

New York and Tailor Made broke up. Big deal. Most reality show couples don’t last anyway. I mean, did we think that it was going to last? It’s almost believable as Michael Jackson being married to Lisa Marie Presley (D’oh!).

“In January, George had a serious discussion with Tiffany. He had come to the conclusion that he couldn’t handle the relationship anymore. It was too distracting to his life, his career and his daughter. He couldn’t consistently be involved in that kind of drama.”

(Why should that come as a surprise that New York was dramatic?)

“However, a rep for VH1 tells PEOPLE that the couple broke up in March and the drama will play out on Pollard’s new VH1 show: “They broke up during the filming of New York Goes Hollywood. The whole drama went down with our cameras rolling and will play out for the audience.”

(So much for spoilers, huh?)

“According to the source, the couple only pretended to still be together for the sake of the show. “When they began shooting, he played it up that they were still together even though they weren’t,” says the source. “They had an understanding because he has respect for Tiffany.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah, all that mumbo jumbo chalks up to one or two things: either he’s broke and can’t support her lifestyle or he decided to grow a set of balls and decided that being a doormat was not for him. Whatever.
