What swagger means to me….
When I see these men on the cover of Ebony Magazine, the first thing comes to my mind is….swagger. This is swagger in so many different variations. What would it be like if I could build a man of my own? He would have:
the Gemini genius cool of Prince (you know, a dose of freaky mixed with that mystery about him), the intelligence and business savvy of Jay-Z, a fighter like Muhammad Ali, a man who can talk so much shyt and back it up like Samuel Jackson, a man who exudes confidence like Denzel, a man who can write me a song like Marvin Gaye, a man that my mother could fall in love with like Billy Dee Williams and last but not least, someone who can demonstrate leadership like Barack Obama.
Am I asking too much?

why do people fuck with prince so hard? i mean, i like prince and all. but he seems like he is very, very homosexual from his swag/charisma. i know his music, so nobody try and play me either. my mom says his lyrics ooze sex appeal. or sex. i forgot what she said. i’m just blown that a bamma can walk around looking as suspect as he, and still smash some of the baddest broads out there. no disrespect.
all i know is i’m a virgo, i was born in ‘86, and i don’t co-sign prince’s swag. michael jackson > prince any day. all categories. except most women slept with. michael loses there.

I feel that Modi. I put Michael Jackson over Prince ANY DAY as well, but I can’t hate on his swagger. Dude has that sex appeal that had Appellonia & several other hot chicks from the 80s going crazy. I never liked his fetish for high heel shoes especially the ones he wore in the video for “Kiss.” Michael Jackson has some swagger as well. Where the hell is he at? I love the covers with Marvin Gaye, Muhammad Ali, and Jay-Z. They all look cool as sh-t. You’re asking for WAY too much Mz. Virgo. You couldn’t be satisfied with Prince by himself? lol

@ Muhammad, Prince is cool, but I think we both have the same waist size. I can’t mess with him in high heels and he might be too short. He miiiiiight get it if he sings “Sexy MF” to me in the bed LOL.

In 2008, you are definately asking too much chica….Men these days aren’t being raised to have those leadership skills…or being motivated at home or elsewhere to develop them on their own…that business savvy? some have it…but are more concerned with hustlin than educating themselves to use it properly….even the ones that get paper hustlin decide their money would be better invested in rims and sneakers than property or education so they can legitimize their endeavors.
Prince…androgenous men have always held a sex appeal that other dude’s can’t fugg wit…ALWAYS.
Just think about all the chicks with gay male best friends…I promise you…it has crossed her mind at least once that she could turn him..
