Don’t leave home without it…
If one is an editor at large (Andre Leon Talley) for a major magazine (Vogue), why would one need to open a store account to pay for some underwear? Exactly how much were they? Why not pay cash or use a credit card?

And while we’re talking about Macy’s, speaking from personal experience, their credit limit is WACK! Yeah, I said it, WACK! When I first opened my account with them years ago, my credit limit was $100! WTF was I going to do with $100 in Macy’s, people? Not exactly shopping spree money LOL. I closed that account months later.

With the bread that he’s making, I’m sure that he had the money to purchase whatever items he wanted. There has to be more to this story that hasn’t been mentioned. I will NEVER open a credit account with them, but I love shopping in Macy’s. About half of the 30 pairs of jeans I own were purchased there. I get discounts through my best friend’s brother-in-law & I always find something hot w/o breaking the bank. Bloomingdale’s is a close second though.
