Bobby Brown says that Usher is like a “mini-me” version of him in his tell all book. No need for me to ask him, “what you drinking?” or “what you smoking?”
“I watched one of Usher’s shows and he basically did my whole show,” the ‘My Prerogartive’ crooner writes. “It was as if it was me on stage. The thing about it is, I love seeing that. It’s a compliment to me as a performer.”
The former New Edition singer totally understands Usher’s reason for emulating his stage performance, to a point in which he once took elements of Prince, Michael Jackson and James Brown.
“I think you take parts of whoever is the hottest act of that era and you incorporate that into your own style,” Brown explained. “It’s just like taking buttermilk, eggs and corn meal, you whip it up bake it and you have cornbread.” (source)

This isn’t the first time he’s said that, and I know why he really believes that. I remember back when Usher had the “My Way” album out (over 10 years ago), and he would occasionally wear the tight leather pants that Bobby Brown wore in his video for “Prerogative.” Also, Bobby was at Usher’s album release party for “Confessions.” He then said that Usher is just following in his footsteps. Personally they both are/were following in Michael Jackson’s footsteps, and neither still can hold a candle to him.

Bobby, need to quit. He swear he fame and recognition world wide. People barely remember him. He is famous for being a crackhead. And then he wants to say Usher is a mini him. He is dilusional.

Usher always did say he loved him som Bobbay! in High School. I could see where Bobby might get that from, but Mini-Bobby, not so sure bout that one.
