A little lie doesn’t hurt.
I know, I am late on this, but better late than never.
Akon defends himself on MTV about fabricating his past. Seems like a little embellishment didn’t damage his career, it helped it.
At this point, I equate Akon fabricating his past to lying on your resumes to get a job. And you know most of you have done it too.

There’s no need for him to apologize. He’s not the first to lie about his grimey past, and he won’t be the last.

So what did he lie about? Being a paligamist? Being a convict? Stealing cars… I don’t care how many people lie about their pasts….he’s a phoney. Not cool…
