This is wrong!

Tell me how can these cops squeeze off 50 shots in one man and are acquitted?

I didn’t want to post about this, but this shyt is riling me up this morning and I needed to express myself. The system is so f-ed up and nothing is being done about this. Police running around like they are untouchable and damn near getting away with it? Fock all of that! I smell a riot coming on and rightfully so. Who in their right mind would shoot a man 50 times?

“Three detectives were acquitted of all charges Friday in the 50-shot killing of an unarmed groom-to-be on his wedding day, a case that put the NYPD at the center of another dispute involving allegations of excessive firepower.

Justice Arthur Cooperman delivered the verdict in a Queens courtroom packed with spectators, including victim Sean Bell’s fiancee and parents, and at least 200 people gathered outside the building.

The verdict provoked an outpouring of emotions: Bell’s fiancee immediately walked out of the room. His mother cried. Gasps were heard throughout the room. Shouts of “No!” and “Not guilty!” erupted in the crowd outside the courthouse, and dozens of people began crying.

Bell, a 23-year-old black man, was killed in a hail of gunfire outside a seedy strip club in Queens on Nov. 25, 2006 — his wedding day — as he was leaving his bachelor party with two friends.

Officers Michael Oliver, 36, and Gescard Isnora, 29, stood trial for manslaughter while Officer Marc Cooper, 40, was charged only with reckless endangerment. Two other shooters weren’t charged. Oliver squeezed off 31 shots; Isnora fired 11 rounds; and Cooper shot four times.

The officers, complaining that pretrial publicity had unfairly painted them as cold-blooded killers, opted to have the judge decide the case rather than a jury.” (source)

F-ck that. And as N.W.A. so eloquently put it, “F-ck the Police”.

I followed this a while ago. The verdict makes absolutely no sense. Ignorance is bliss and that judge possibly thoughtt hat if he rendered a verdict of guilty , it would BRINGFORTH an Al Sharpton speech……..

this is horrible a man was murdered and two men were almost killed… that’s what it is nothing more nothing less…. how can ppl trust the police if we fear that we may be hurt by them??? i hope there is no riot and there is peaceful protests… I live near where they march by the hospital where the survivors were and I know the area where sean bell was killed.. this has brought the community together … i think riots will tear ppl apart….

Everytime I see that baby I want to cry. Hopefully she’ll smile that big again, even though her daddy is gone.

I knew this was going to happen after I saw the charges brought against them & the fact that there was a trial by judge instead of jury. I’ve been saying FUCK THE POLICE since my preteen days after I saw how they handled my cousin. The system isn’t worth 2 rusty cents if these assclowns dressed in blue are allowed to walk away after emptying clips at unarmed men. I’m saying this when in fact my father’s best friend is the Lieutenant Deputy Commissioner of NYC. He’s been trying to recruit me & my brothers for years to join the force. This is one of hundreds of reasons why I could never do such a deed. RIP Sean Bell.
