Is it just me?

So last night I was watching “Rock The Cradle” and not only did Landon Brown (Bobby Brown’s son, on the right, who doesn’t resemble Bobby at all) get eliminated, but Lil’ B Sure (left) also got eliminated. Neither one of them could carry a tune and the only thing they had going for them was that they had nice bodies. Hee.
Last week, Akeba (MC Hammer’s daughter) was eliminated and to me, she was a good singer.
I really don’t watch these reality shows where we, the home audience, has to vote for who stays and who goes because I don’t trust these phones and I don’t feel like texting in my vote. But it always seems like the black contestant gets eliminated and/or are portrayed as the villian or the b-tch (New York, Bootz, Omarosa, Khia, Buddha, etc.). I just want to know, why are we always voted off first? I’m just saying, whenever a white contestant is as snarky or catty, then they are being “manipulative”, “calculating”, “witty”, etc.
Maybe it’s just me, MzVirgo, overanalyzing and overreacting, as usual.

I think that some people get a bad shake regardless of color… They hated the red head from rock of love(yes I watched the 1st season hangs head in shame).. but most of the people you named really came off askew(i’m being nice) the portrayal didn’t seem that far off from what they may really be in real life..thats not necessarily a bad thing or a good thing its an is what it is thing.. I think that they play it up more for the camera… and the people who get called certain names or characteristics love the title they are given the work with it and love it….look at I love NY….. they become a character that people love to hate or love to watch…. I never watched that show with the stars of kids but I think they just want to get out there regardless if there talented or not…. they should make a show where they give singing lesson and artist development or something….not that making the band stuff I dunno some suggestion hell reality tv isnt even reality lol

I see what you’re sayin’ MzVirgo, because it does seem like that MOST of the time. I didn’t watch the show faithfully, but when I did tune in, it was to see how these 2 guys and Akeiba did - because they’re my people. Even though i’ve raked him over the coals because of his face, I feel bad for Lil B Sure the most because he had to resort to participating in something like THIS jus’ to get a shot at a record deal when his baby brother is sitting over there all but being RAISED as by a mogul - Diddy. What will Lil B Sure do now?

Your on the money love! The thing that bothers the mess out of me is that we have goons wanting to be the New Yorks, Bootz and so on. They feel that acting this way is the fastest and easiest way to get stardom but it’s for all the wrong reasons! These goons are the reason why I don’t watch too much of the Idiot Box now (ie College hill, anything that has to done with flavor flav or the hussies who slobbed him down…) Good Post Mz.Virgo
