A website for deadbeat dads?
(And I thought that “Don’t Date Him, Girl” website was bad.)
Wow. I never thought I’d live to see something like this.
I peeped this website called “Daddydontwantme.com” (yes that is the name of the site), formerly known as “Sorryassbabydaddies.com” and these deadbeat dads are ON BLAST!
Started by Fadia Ward two years ago, it’s not just a website for bashing deadbeat fathers, but she also uses the site to uplift people who are/were in the same situation as she was. She even goes as far as to encourage wrongfully accused men to dispute that they are good fathers by sending their court documents! On a positive note, she also encourages women to give props to the men who are good fathers
I want you all to check this site out and tell me, is this taking it too far? Do we want the world to know how much of a deadbeat dad a man is? Are we putting all of our business in the streets? Or is this site doing a positive thing by addressing the problem?

I don’t know if this is positive or not. Maybe it will put pressure on some of these guys, but i doubt it. It’s just exploiting their behavior without benefiting anyone really-

Hello ms. Virgo have been reading your site for a while now and i really enjoy your blogs… anyways I checked the website its crazy… i think it won’t benefit anyone… Its not helping the kids or the problem of the fathers being absent from there child’s lives… The funny thing is that if a father was on there and he is disputing the claims he has to pay 20 dollars and post all his proof as you said.. ehh sounds suspect to me why charge them??? anyways with technology its getting outta hand on some levels…. these matters should be handled in court and counseling for the kids (since some moms say there kids are acting out) not threw the net….

Rebecca, thank you for your comments. Yeah, that 20 dollars could go to some baby food or some diapers instead of trying to prove to some unknown person that they are a good father.

Hey MzVirgo. I took a look at that site you posted and I’m floored. I laughed but I feel bad that the kid’s faces are online like that, especially that boy on the first page who’s crying. The fathers’ pictures up, fine, but not the kids, that’s not gon’ help nothin’. I know I joke a lot but my heart goes out for them. My brother is a deadbeat and I all I saw is him while I was reading some of those stories, it’s crazy. I’m just glad my husband isn’t like any of those guys.

Ok every body who has child support issues are not flat out broke.
It cost to keep a website up and running thats why I charge.
I don’t think that every one would agree with me but the fact still remains this is happening, $150 billion dollars is old in back child support and how many young adults are in jail who was raised with out their father?
This needs to be put out there…..
