Lil’ Wayne = talented junkie
I apologize in advance if this cover of Lil’ Wayne freaks you out as much as it did me.
I read the latest issue of Source Magazine and went right to the Lil’ Wayne featured article. He has some serious doozies for quotes. This one is my favorite:
“A junkie can’t do what the f*ck I do………it ain’t what I’m on, it’s what I do and making music is what the f*ck I do.”
Ok, let me take you there, Weezy. As far as junkies doing what the f*ck he does let me name some names. Does Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Frankie Lymon, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Ray Charles ring a bell? Guess what? They were considered musical geniuses and they DIED from their junkie ways. And some of them didn’t even make it to 30.
You need to reevaulate that statement right there, Lil’ Wayne. Really. A junkie is just that, a junkie. But when you are talented and you are throwing it away by being a junkie, then that is a waste and a tragedy in the making.

If only Lil wayne would grow up… he could rise to T.I./Ludacris/ influence and status in the game. He already has the music. Get the business down, and clean up ur act Weezy!! I wanna c you succeed.

Great Point! Jimi Hendrix & Kurt Cobain were the worst case scenarios. They were very talented & saw their addiction as being more important than their health. Lil’ Wayne has a lot to learn, and he needs to quit trying to be like my man 2pac b/c he isn’t.
